DVUSC Coaches have to meet a couple criteria in order to be able to coach a DVUSD junior team.
ALL junior coaches must have a current Working With Children accreditation. Further information can be found here: https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
ALL junior coaches must have completed at least one FFV accredited coaching course. Further information can be found here: https://www.footballvictoria.com.au/coaching-courses-community
We do recognise that at times and given the often short supply of coaches, sometimes a coach will defer the course until the end of the season (especially if recruited early in the season), in preparation of the following season’s coaching duties.
All junior coaches have access to the DVUSC Technical Director in order to gain further knowledge about coaching and/or continue their professional development as a coach.
