Did you read your email?

Did you know that only 26% of the emails we send get read? We certainly don’t send them for fun and it takes us time to put them together, so if we send you an email, please read it! Sure you’ll get some annoying emails at the moment from TeamSnap about event/games changes whilst the teams and coaches are settling in and days/times are adjusted – just roll with it. – read your emails – you might miss something important like registration information or uniform information.

Be sure to check the DVUSC website for updated information and follow us on Facebook if you don’t already.

Weekend Update – Fri 12 February 2021

All sessions planned during the 5 day lockdown period are cancelled. For those who have registered, we stress there is no need to panic, we guarantee 100% refund if the season doesn’t commence and also pro-rata refund if the season starts and is then cancelled after a number of games.
We thought we’d use the lockdown to upgrade the hosting on our website. So if you visit it and it doesn’t look right we are probably working it.
It’s no secret we are running on a skeleton staff in terms of Committee Members at the moment. If you can help us in any way please let us know.
These sessions will be re-scheduled shortly. We will be in touch.

DVUSC Feedback

We have a small committee at DVUSC at the moment. It is very much all hands on deck during this busy period however we continue to VOLUNTEER and get the tasks done so that the club can function. Please be a little patient with us.
We have had some anonymous feedback recently and despite being quite detailed, it was sent anonymously, which is pretty useless to us as we then can’t follow up on the issue.
We do have a process for complaints – check the DVUSC website for details – click on [The Club] and then [Complaints and Feedback] or click the link below.
Any issue can be kept confidential if desired but submitting anonymous feedback means our hands are tied and it makes us hard to action.

Junior Information for 2021 Season

Letter from the Committee

Firstly, Welcome to season 2021. We want to thank all players, parents, coaches and members for their support during 2020. Last year was a year none of us would like to experience again. The support and understanding from the Diamond Valley families has been amazing. We cannot thank you enough.

We hope that we will all be able to get back to normal and get the players back on the pitch so we can all enjoy this amazing sport.

We have some great announcements for the upcoming 2021 season.

New Lower Fee structure in 2021

We are excited to announce we have been able to significantly lower our fees for the upcoming season. The main reason for this is at the start of 2020 season we purchased significant equipment at the club which we won’t have to for the upcoming 2021 season. Registrations will open on our website on the 1st February.

Loyalty rewards card

Players who paid fees in 2020 will receive a Diamond Valley loyalty card for the upcoming 2021 season. These will be dispersed prior to the first round of games in 2021. Details of the loyalty card will be advised prior to season start.

Club Update – 20 Jan 2021

Committee For 2021

We have had a recent change to our Committee for the 2021 season. Mark O’Shea has moved to the position of President (Off-field) and Jason Innes has stepped up into the President/Secretary roles as well as taking on the Junior Boys Coordinator roles. As you can see here, we are very light on the ground in terms of Committee members and we are on the look out for additional helpers in any capacity. We thank Rafael Merino, Linda Coutts and Brendan Cox for their respective service, all having resigned since the end of the 2020 season.

Training Dates, Registration and the 2021 Season

Are are still working through the process of assigning training days/times and will have an email out shortly about junior pre-season training. We also plan to open registration on the 1st February 2021. Watch this space.
